Adjustments have been made today to soften the EXP curve in regards to how much EXP is required to earn each level up.
Lower levels may find that they have a bigger EXP TNL now since it is now not *as* fast to level up at lower level as it was before. This is because you will need to now catch up the extra EXP which is now required for you to be at your current level before you can advance to the next.
For example, you may have been level 23 before this change was made and you will now find that you have the total EXP of a level 21, however, you are still level 23. This means that before you can advance to level 24, you must earn the extra EXP from the new formula for levels 21 and 22, and then earn the EXP for level 23 to 24.
Higher levels may also find themselves with minus EXP TNL since the bug where higher levels would have ridiculous amounts of EXP TNL has been fixed. Please be careful as if this is the case, it will be treated like a reroll and you will level up each time you attack something until your EXP is out of minus numbers.
The amount of EXP earned in groups has been greatly increased and we encourage all players to give these new settings a spin.
Originally, each new player added to the group would result in an extra 50% of the target monster's death EXP added on, and then split evenly (if the levels were close enough) throughout the group. For example: 100 EXP earned for a mob's death solo, would result in a 2 person group increasing that monster's EXP on death to 150. It would then be split between the 2 people and they would get 75 EXP each. This +50% would then continue for each person added into the group until the bonus was capped at 300%.
Players now receive +85% EXP bonus per person in the group with a maximum bonus cap of +500%.
